The blue side of Praga. Sapphire is the community that stands for strategy and composure: it competes, celebrates and serves throughout the school year alongside classmates, teachers and families.
Blue identifies Sapphire in every competition, flashmob and Community Day. The shirt is worn with pride from preschool through to graduation.
Every activity counts. Points accumulate across the three terms and the cup is awarded at the end-of-year ceremony.
A preschool student competes on the same side as a senior. Older students lead, younger ones learn.
Families are part of the community too. On Community Day the stands turn blue.
Every student belongs to one of the four communities for their entire school life. It is not a temporary group: it is an identity that stays with them from enrolment to graduation.
Communities exist so students learn to work as a team, lose with dignity and celebrate with generosity. Results pass; the character formed there remains.
Older students organise the younger ones, build the choreography and hold up team morale. For many it is the first genuine leadership role of their lives.
